The trailer for skins is set at night which means its very dark with dull lighting used to create an atmosphere of an evening out.The clothes the cast are wearing are casual. The extras are dressed up as locals going to the pub for a normal night out, not wearing anything thing special, looking quite tired and rough. The when the main characters come in they are dressed in a range off stuff. some are wearing hoodies and trackies like common youths, where as some of the girls are dressed more reaveling in little dresses. But when they enter they all look like theyve been out for a while and are untidy looking. The props that are used are the basic contents of a pub. Pooltables, bar, drinks, tables, chair, bar stools, cards, a dog (which acts very agressively which suggest that danger could happen)and gamberling machines. The setting as in a run down pub in the middle of a city which looks as though it would probably have a lot of trouble with people acting out of order, this means that the viewer might expect something bad to happen like a fight.
The main characters enter the scene drunk, while the extras playing the locals look angry that these youths have desturbed them, they constantly give the filthy looks. While the main characters dont seem to care and are loud, happy, laughing, singing, dancing and drinking. They play all this very convincingly. The scene is done in slow motion so you can see their expressions easily. They all look 'out of it' an their expressions are very easy to read so they viewer know's what they are thinking. The makeup at the begining of the scene is done very nicely but as the seen goes on they all look more and more rough and sweat.Their makeup runs and they look unclean and unapproachable. Whena fight breaks out parts of the scene is speed up so it looks like it is more dangerous, while other parts are slowed down so you can see theri expressions of pain or anger during the fight.
